This place is phenomenal. Way better experience and pricing than any discount tire or other mechanic shop in the area. This place is direct and clear. - The shop has a premium gym/lounge vibe to it and does not feel like a mechanic shop at all. Don’t let the premium feel of the shop scare you off, they charge very fair prices, offer a payment plan on work done with no interest, and a shuttle service home if you need to leave your car. - Pete the GM came out and spoke to me, he is super personable and has enthusiasm about you getting your work done there. The staff is nice and direct. - I was thanked several times for trusting them to work on my vehicle. Fantastic service. I appreciate their honesty and transparency. I had some major issues with my 20 year old GX470 and Sun auto fixed my car at half the price of what both Lexus dealer and YHS in Katy wanted. Sun auto is the BEST. There is a reason Sun Auto is rated so highly. I trust fully their excellent service advisors and mechanics, Trust is a very difficult thing to find these days, especially in mechanic auto shops.

Went there for an oil change last year. I usually go to Firestone but they were pretty busy. Sun Auto is literally 5 mins from my home and i didn’t even know. After my oil change I got email or text stating what services should be required next on my vehicle. Along with pics which I thought was really cool. The guy was very knowledgeable and let me say quick. It’s like I was in and out and they weee pretty busy for a Saturday morning. Before I left I needed to replace two tires asap but I didn’t stated i wld come back at a later date. Well guess who had a blow out in WPT. Went back the Saturday morning before the winter storm comes around and they were able to fix my tire along w another. Didn’t even take more than two hours like some places. State Inspection and oil change done quickly and at a good price. The waiting room is spacious, comfortable, and clean. I got a free bottle of water. They did give me a printout of about $200 worth of upsell items that I declined, but most shops do this. They didn’t pressure me about it. I will add that I first went to Kwik Kar Lube on Fry Road. They failed my inspection and told me I needed new spark plugs and new coils (at least $500) even though the car is running perfectly and getting good mileage. I called BS and told them I will never be back. I then brought my car to Sun and I happily had the opposite experience. They said my codes had been wiped clean so I needed to drive for a day or two for the car to relearn the codes, then bring the car back in. They did this for no char
