Sunrise at Mill Basin

For the Community Back to School Drive JAG Physical Therapy hosted for the entire month of August, we were able to get the participation of Sunrise Senior Living, they were able to donate supplies to the drive. The establishment is a neighborhood staple and contributed to local event that took place to help two local schools, PS 05 & PS 222. To that, I say thank you for your participation, they are very community driven and very welcoming.

My grandmother was in memory care at Sunrise for a year and a half. She was very well taken care of, the staff was very helpful and we always felt very happy with the attention that she received. This is a great assisted living facility and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for their family.

My husbands grandmother was in memory care at Sunrise and received excellent care. She was well taken care of by staff and was able to be surrounded by friendly, helpful people. Everyone was always able to answer any question and was eager to help with any request.

My best friend is at Sunrise as a new resident. I must give kudos to the entire staff, especially the director, Angie, who made my friend feel welcome, and well taken care of. Sunrise addresses the physical and mental health of individuals, and they encourage residents to do things that benefit them - like exercise, socialize, etc. I am very happy with the care and would highly recommend it as an assisted living facility.

Both my father and mother had been Sunrise at Mill Basin residents for 3 ½ years. It was a difficult decision to make; however, their needs outweighed living in their home. We searched for the right fit, and upon meeting with Angie Giorlando, I knew I found the perfect place. She was kind and considerate when she explained in great detail everything we needed to know about making arrangements for our parents’ move as this was a delicate situation for us all. She helped us to navigate through the administrative tasks with ease and offered ongoing support with sincere interest in the well- being of my parents over this time span.
