Superior Auto Body Big Bear

Superior Auto body used to be American Auto Body is the worst repair shop in or around Big Bear. Different name same owner. I let this shop repair my vehicle and it was one of the wort mistakes of my life. I have been without a vehicle for 3 months. I don't know if they just don't have money to repair the vehicles but my car was the for 3 months. Promises after promises to get it done and it never happened in the time frame they said. The owner Mark Davis will promise you the world and make you feel like your the best customer and then of course not deliver on his promises. I cant believe a shop that has screwed so many locals continue to stay in business. Superior Auto is the best! They go above and beyond! My husband totaled his truck. They fixed it better than new! They did quality repairs A to Z in a timely manner! They handled all of the details. Their quality is the absolute best! They even waxed it and put a shinny coat on it and cleaned the inside. They definitely take pride in their work! We wouldn't take our vehicles anywhere else! They are professional and treat you like family!

shop took over 6 months to not even complete the job, i called in numerous times and was always told their waiting on parts. my friends mom was the receptionist and told me that they usually do this to most customers and that they haven’t even ordered the parts yet. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOP

The car handles great! Only problem was length of time it took. Apparently the dealership kept sending the wrong parts. Otherwise very happy!!!

I’ve never had a more horrible experience working with anyone than I did with this body shop. Mark is dishonest, unreliable, and gives off an extremely sleazy salesperson vibe. I dropped my van off in December 2023 with the clear understanding that the repairs would take five weeks and that Big Bear Vans (BBV) would handle the interior work (a major reason I chose this shop—Arthur and Anna at BBV are amazing). Instead, Mark took all the insurance money and chose to do the work himself—despite promising otherwise. He lied about replacing panels, allowed moisture to seep through holes in the roof, and now there’s mold growing on the cabinets and wood countertops.
