Traveling 460+ miles today from Taos to Silver City, NM, we pulled over to make sandwiches in the camper for lunch in the small town of Mountainair. Mel did a rig check and discovered a tire that had some wear beyond the other three tires that potentially could be a problem. Google search turned up one tire shop in town a few blocks away so headed over to find TA Tires door open with a ‘back at 1:30’ clock. It was 12:15 so we waited. Owner Toby came back early, had one tire in stock that was exactly what we needed, and had us back on the road quickly. What could have been a very long day wasn’t thanks to a kind businessman who took the time to work us in.
