Take 5 Car Wash

I have been a Take5 Customer for almost 10 years, and started a Take5 Car wash membership at the beginning of this fall. For the last couple months it has been impossible to get a car wash because it has been closed, however, I’ve still been charged my monthly fee. I have tried calling and the fact there is no chance for reimbursement is very frustrating. Will be recommending everyone I know to use a different car wash in Gainesville.

I first registered for the unlimited car wash subscription in September. I used it once before they closed for maintenance. Multiple times I drove all the way across the city to visit the car wash yet it was still closed with no signs for reopening. I have called customer service multiple times and been left on an indefinite hold for >30 minutes. Disgusting. Do not go here and take your business elsewhere- even once they reopen.

Editing to add: As of Nov 17th this location remains “closed for maintenance,” no plans to reopen have been expressed by management or customer care. Membership fees have NOT been reimbursed and it is a hassle trying to cancel it. Please do yourself a favor folks, avoid avoid avoid this location. Scrubs car wash is less than 5 minutes away and offers a TON more. This location has been closed for weeks due to a damage they have on their roof, according to what their staff informed me days ago. They have rude, helpless staff, completely different place than it was a year ago. I don’t recommend coming here, try Scrubs Carwash nearby. If you do decide to stop by, avoid the little boy with long hair and seemingly low T as he is the rudest of their staff.

I’m really disappointed with this car wash. It has been closed for over a month, yet I’m still being charged for my membership even though I can’t use the service. I’ve even driven across town multiple times hoping it would be open, only to find it still shut down. It’s frustrating and a waste of my time. I would like to cancel my membership and request a refund. Please provide a phone number or email so I can move forward with this. This is definitely not the experience I expected.

1st time going the the facility and it was a very bad experience . Paid for the $16 wash that was suppose to include wheel and tire cleaner and no tire shine . Went thru the wash and truck was still dirty especially the wheels and wheel wells , and the front of the truck . I complained that my truck was still dirty and paid more than the basic wash option and the young male at the tunnel proceeded to tell me that they don’t have the ability to use pressure washers that are set up on either side of the tunnel on wheels or get brush any bug splatter off or dirt off before the wash . I told them every other car wash does a pre wash. They ran me thru the tunnel again and when I got out , left left tires had tire shine which I didn’t want and the right side had none.
