Take 5 Oil Change

Serviced: November 7 @16:10 I was very disappointed with my recent visit to Take 5. The total time for my oil change, including waiting, was about an hour, which is a lot longer than expected for a “quick” service. The mechanic also insisted that my car could only take high-mileage 5W-40 full synthetic oil. I knew that wasn’t accurate because my car takes either 5W-30 or 5W-40, and I’ve gotten 5W-30 semi-synthetic at other shops with no issues. It felt like they were trying to upsell me instead of listening. Another major concern: while pouring the oil, the mechanic was dripping oil all over my engine and didn’t bother to wipe it up. I have attached a photo showing the oil spots left behind. Overall, the service was careless and unprofessional, and I won’t be returning.

I have been to other take 5 locations across the metro and had awful experiences. I was a little apprehensive to try this newer location. I was pleasantly surprised by my experience. From the start the supervisor was very warm and welcoming. The technician was very clear in my services and recommendations. From start to finish it was truly an easy and comfortable experience. I truly hope Take 5 metro leaders look at this location and figure out how to take this experience to their other locations. This is the service center to model. ♥️

I put over priced because it was the same price as the dealer. I used a coupon for 25% off which made it cheaper than the 20% from the dealership. The workers were very welcoming, kind, helpful, and explained everything to me. I would come back just because of the employees.

I had an awesome experience at Rockwell Take 5 location. All the staff was amazing and went well and above the call of duty. The representative that helped me was Jonathan I believe, I didn't catch the gentleman's name BUT he from Alabama and has dreads, if anyone is interested, and Chris I believe. But they were all involved and took care of me. Jonathan went above and beyond checking my check engine light where he ran a diagnostic amd told me the issues codes that popped up. I am very pleased with my service I received and very thankful for the hospitality! This will be my main location to attend.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I am always worried i will be duped because of my limited knowledge but the staff assured me and and explained everything they did. The icing was how fast the service was.
