Take 5 Oil Change

Extremely unprofessional place. When I got there, the bay smelt completely like black and milds, weed and cigarettes.i highly recommend the owner check into that. I havnt checked yet but as far as I know the quality of work is ok as it was just a oil change. This review is for this location o ly because iv had good service from another location in the past.

When I went to the Take 5 in Tallahassee Florida, that’s on Thomasville Road and almost at the exit ramp to get onto I10, A young man who goes by the name of Zay helped me. With being able to drive in and get my oil changed in a quick timeframe, Zay was also extremely professional, polite, and helpful. I had to inform him of a situation that I had encountered at another Take 5 location, and Zay immediately was apologetic and tried to find a solution. Zay listened to me and he was very professional, empathetic and understanding about the situation even though it did not happen at his location. That day Zay saved a customer, myself, from taking my business elsewhere. Because of Zay, I will continue to be a returning customer to that location. I’m so thankful for all of his help.

I came in December 2025 to receive an oil change, which they of course charged me for. While driving recently(March 2026), my check engine light came on and the codes were pulling camshaft and crankshaft sensors. After consulting with a mechanic, they notified me that I only had 1 quart out of 4 quarts of oil in my car, and the oil was black(usually indicates that it has not been changed for awhile) I asked them to check for any leaks, and they could not find any, which leads me to believe this location did not actually perform the oil change, yet charged me for it anyway. I was notified by the mechanic that this is a common occurence with Take 5 locations from cars that he has worked on(not changing the oil, forgetting to put new oil in vehicle but removing the old oil, not replacing the

Have been going toTake Five on Thomasville Road for quite a while for my oil changes. I just wanted to give them a shout out for their consistent courteous service that I received there. They are always very professional and friendly to me. Especially want to give a shout out to Jamon. He is very pleasant To work with and always has a smile. Thanks for the great service.

Oil change was fine as far as I can tell. They did not have the Mobil 1 oil I wanted so I had to settle for their Full Synthetic blend. They also spilled oil on my engine so it has smelled bad while it has been burning off. In a pinch, I would return, but doubt I’ll come back otherwise. Follow-up: I returned to this location the following day to have them look at the issue. After driving more than a few miles, smoke would start to come from the engine compartment and the smell was bad. They determined that the oil fill cap had not been screwed back on properly cause oil to splash out and into the exhaust manifold. They also noted that my car had lost 2 qts of oil during the 20 miles I drove it after the oil change. They tightened the cap, refilled the lost oil, and cleaned up the s
