Take 5 Oil Change

I never write reviews, but my experience at Take 5 has been so horrible that I feel compelled to share my experience with others, and warn them not to give this place any of their time or money. Back in September I took my 2016 Civic to this location for a simple oil and filter change. The service took longer than expected, close to an hour, but overall was a decent experience as they offered me water throughout the process and kept me informed as they worked. Fast forward 3 days, and on my way back from work, on the highway, the skid plate underneath my car came undone and was completely destroyed. Upon contacting Take 5 regarding this issue, they agreed to take a look at my car first thing the following morning and ended up removing the skid plate entirely. The manager of this locatio

I give 2 stars just soley based on how nice the customer service was. But for the actual process of getting my car worked on I give them 0 Stars. Usually I would do my own oil changes but haven't had the time. I took it here.(Worst choice I could have made) they were too worried about upselling airfilters and wipers to be able to do a Simple oil change Properly enough. I paid for the oil change and IMMEDIATELY upon pulling out my car stalls and dies I take it back around and ask them about it, They take a look under the hood and say it looks like a bad battery...... we didnt cause this because we only touch A,B, and C well after I pull off and STRUGGLE to get my car home because it dies and LITTELRY EVERY STOP I make I get home do a Quick Simple Google and it tells me to look at my air fil

My first time there. Was greeted by CeeJay along with a nice cold bottle of water, a very nice polite young man. He proceeded to tell me what was going to happen. I have never had an oil change while sitting in my car, but it was great. Then an older gentleman named Milton came over, putting me in the computer, asking questions. He asked where I was from I said NJ, he's from the Bronx, NY, so yes there was friendly banter going back and forth. They showed me my air filter which definitely needed to be changed. It's nice to see what they are doing. I highly recommend Take5, yes I will be back again. Trust me you will not be disappointed.

I had a great experience here. The technicians were friendly and knowledgeable without making me feel pressured to add extra services. I was given a bottle of cold water to enjoy while my oil was being changed. They even cleaned my windshield! There was a coupon available on their website so it made the price very reasonable. I would definitely return.

The "techs" were very nice and courteous. This rating is not for them. I typically do all my own oil changes and filter changes for our 2 vehicles...mine and my sons. But im on Chemo and had a lot of yard work so was too exhausted to also do the oil changes. I went to this place by Walmart. Expected a little more pricey obviously for the convenience of not having to do it myself. My sons car we just bought used in July-August...I forgot to change out the cabin filter and it was nasty. I had them do mine also. They charged $50 per filter. Its a $9-10 filter....$100 for 2 filters and the 20 seconds it takes to change out. I didn't know this till got final bill. I could understand a mark up...but Holy Crap! Ill definitely die doing it myself before going here again...for anything.
