Tanner Transmissions

WARNING: Yeah I'll just echo what others have said. Got my transmission rebuilt about 40000 miles ago. Already dead on me. They don't have any of my warranty paperwork, which is fine. I have it. But now I'm told if I didn't get annual inspections they won't honor the warranty. What annual inspections? Nobody told me about annual inspections! So now I've got a transmission rebuild that couldn't even last 40,000 miles and it's my fault. They won't honor it. Figures. Never coming back, never recommending them. What good is a rebuild that isn't good in the first place?!

If I could give 0 stars I would! Brand new tranny 3 years and 21 days ago and oh warranty is only 3 years! Wouldn't do anything to help me out, mind blowing considering tranny should last 10 years easy! Told $3800 and a week later it was $5500!...

Had 6,000dollars of repairs done . Rebuild transmission, and stop rear main seal oil leak. 5 WEEKS later I finally got the jeep back again ! Three try’s , three failed attempts at both . Shoddy work!! And they stripped the oil pan bolts on the engine. Just found that out today. Stay away from Tanners Transmission…. Terrible work, I finally took the jeep somewhere else after 5 weeks. Stay away !! They will try and sell you stuff you don’t need done too ! I got taken…. Old man and Vietnam Vet . Shysters & Shoddy work from tanners transmission.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!!!! I can't stress this enough! Seriously. To even begin to share the frustration I've had with this business is a major understatement. I took my Range Rover here to get my first to second gear fixed. I got the run around for MONTHS! It was in the shop for a total of 4 months! They never called every so often to give me updates, I always had to call them and see what was going on with it and why it was taking so long to get it done. I'm not one to expect a job like this to be done right away. I understand it takes time to get it in and work on it but for 4 months?! The whole time it was there I just didn't get a good feeling about it being there just because I felt like I was being given the run around every time I called. It was as if there was never any re

I would get 3 quotes before getting work done here again. They look at the vehicle and then give you a huge $ quote then tell you the truck is all torn apart so we can just get it done now. My son paid $2000 more than he should have for a rebuild. A week later fluid still leaking and they want to charge more for something that they should have taken care of for $4000. It makes me sick to think about how hard he works and how they took advantage.
