Tapia Collision Repair

After shopping around for a collision repair place for awhile and being lied to about the scope of the damage at several. I stumbled across Tapia. I met with Luis and he couldn’t have made the process more straightforward, simple, and easy. Luis made sure to keep me updated during the process via text messages and pictures. a deer hit my car. estimates for repair were more than the 2015 chevy spark was worth. found tapia in st paul park. really nice guy. said he could get used parts to fix the damage. we discussed the work and i wanted functionality over beauty. i could have had the part paint for a cost . . . not necessary for me. the work was done exactly as i wanted and the final price was as discussed as well. the only thing i did not like was it cost me an extra $20 to use my credit card because he was using pay pal. i hate pay pal. bring cash or check next time

I showed up with a huge dent in my passenger rear door due to a collision. Luis looked at it and said he could fix it and he had an opening the next day. The day after he said my jeep was all good to go. When I showed up I looked at my car and wasn’t sure which side was originally damaged. The paint and everything looked perfect. I highly recommend them.

In September 2024, Luis Tapia sold me a car for $7,900 dollars. He told me to put the check in to LT Automotive. He assured me that the car was in good condition and that the only thing that needed to be fixed was the TPS. My daughter only drove it one day and the next day we took it to be inspected because it smelled like something was burning. During the inspection, they told us that the car couldn't be driven because of all the damage it had. Right now, we're in court. I just want my money back and I'll return the car to them because he says it doesn't cost much to fix it, so he should fix it and keep it. Had to replace my headlight, grill, and fix a dent in my fender. They were very easy to work with, and I was impressed with how efficient they were. A few things to note, they ordered a different grill than I had requested, and the paint job on the fender didn't match my paint. I'm sure if I had requested, they would have returned the other grill and ordered a different one without it being a hassle. I simply didn't want to make another appointment. I'm just glad the paint job was a tiny area...🫡 All in all, the parts were installed beautifully, the price was honest, and people were very nice.
