Ted & Jerry's Auto Dismantling Inc

Have been here plenty of times and love them. They were my go to shop when I lived in southern California. They can track down any part and their prices are good. They guarantee that the parts work too. Alot of other people are on here criticizing them, not sure why. Have always had an excellent experience at Ted and Jerry's.

Hi I needed a drive shaft for a 2003 toyota tacoma ND I called aqk in santa fe springs but they did not have one, and I asked them I'd they knew any body that might have it so they told me about this place so I called the and he gave the price of 300 with taxes included when I got there he told it was 350 I told him you said 300 total so they gave one incomplete so I said I need the other piece and he said that sells separate so I paid 350 and when I istalled it I noticed a broke u joint and I was going to do it here to saved me the trip,but it was expensive so I disaded to get my waranty but he refused to give another one becase the meddle part did not have their mark , so he told me to bring the my old shaft, so had to drive another 2.5 hours and when he saw my drive shaft he said that

This guy wanted me to pay top dollar and cash only. He would not even let me see the part first. He said it was in primo condition in the back but would not get it without paying. He kept telling me how trustworthy he was. When a stranger tells me to trust him, I get real nervous. I ended up walking without buying anything. After reading these reviews of them supplying the wrong parts, I'm glad I walked.

Run as far as you can from this place. It took them 4 months to find the engine I paid for fully, then they gave me the wrong engine. It took them another 4 months to find the right engine. Then after a few months I go and pick up the engine but they refuse to give it to me, arguing I took too long to pick it up. Up to this day they refuse to take any responsibility.

Excellent customer service I was totally overwhelmed by the kindness and courtesy of the gentleman who helped me today. Very knowledgeable of the type of cars that are he is being presented with. I enjoyed my time today here and will definitely refer any customers
