Tex-Star Muffler, Diesel, and Alignments

I brought my car to Tex Star Muffler #1 because it was shaking and smoking badly. I was charged over $1,400 for repairs, and when I got my vehicle back, it was shaking and smoking worse than when I dropped it off. Absolutely nothing was fixed. When I brought this to their attention, the staff was extremely rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Instead of taking responsibility or attempting to resolve the issue, I was treated like I was a problem for simply expecting the work I paid for to be done correctly. The way I was spoken to felt disrespectful and uncomfortable. Spending that amount of money only to have your car returned in worse condition is unacceptable. Super bad service and bad attitude been going here for years the only people that have been changing my oil and they messed up the screw from oil pan and wanna charge 35 to take it off bad business they didn't even care losing a long time customer even my muffler keeps falling off Mi jente no les den negosio a esta jente servicio muy mal

Hey everybody this is a nice shop they have here, the prices are very reasonable and the service is attentive and quick. This makes a good place to bring your car for your brakes muffler and stuff like that. I asked if they did a little AC and stuff but and they don't but for your brakes and stuff and your muffler is a very nice shot and they do alignments as well. It was very quick for me and the service was great.

Everytime a car comes in and you're getting you catalytic converter changed, it's like they pay attention more to the other vehicles and you was here first. My truck is on the right and to the left is another customer (3rd) getting their stuff fixed before finishing mines. Bad when it comes to 1st come 1st serve. (Doesn't exist here) if you make it here 1st and someone comes 20minutes after you, expect to wait longer on getting your stuff finished before the person that came after you. It's a simple job of cutting and a little welding. Been here 1hour and a half already.

I bought 2 cat. converters which they put on. They were rattling so I brought my truck back and the guy that put them on use an iron bar on my transmission mount and raised my transmission. He told me my transmission mount was broken. I took my truck to the shop to get another mount. They still rattled went back and they told me it would stop. A year later my truck won’t go past 20mph. Towed my truck to the shop converters clogged up so bad that deposits were pushed back on my spark plugs. Because of them I replaced a fuel filter, fuel pump, MAF sensor, Ignition coils, had 2 tuneups when the entire problem was the converters they put on my truck. Take my advice unless you want to spend more money don’t use them.
