Highly recommended! Had to get a transmission rebuild. They were done so fast and kept me updated the entire time. Robert laid everything out for me with multiple options that include included, a fantastic warranty with fair pricing and clear coverage. Nothing was done without Discussing it beforehand, and they went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with the work. I live by the Galleria, but don’t mind making the trip because of the honesty and transparency they provided.

I would give less stars if I could, but one is the requirement in order to make a review. I called numerous Mr. transmission places all around Houston. I have all brought in and they’ve looked at it for free like they said they would and they’ve all told me the same thing. So I was calling and asking how much it would cost to swap an Automatic transmission module just to see what the difference in prices is. All of them told me with the parts and the labor may be about 400. 450 at most. No issue with that. I have a pretty old car and I’m a small girl so I’m used to the attempt of being taken advantage of at auto shops. But because I own a lemon, trust me I know what’s going on under my hood. But that wasn’t the case here, They weren’t trying to shove repairs down my throat, and were honest with me that my light was faulty and that my transmission could go on for longer. They even gave me a recommended mileage to come back to get it looked at again just in case. I felt very respected here. It was great hearing their expert advice on just how long they honestly thought I’d be able to go without repairs. Because shops will take a one look at my rusty car and think ‘$$$’. Will definitely be coming back once I do start to feel like my transmission is truly failing.

TEX Transmission & Auto Care repaired the transmission on my grandson’s Veloster in a timely fashion taking care to assure the repair was done properly and completely.
