Getting a Good Honest Mechanic who is passionate about what they do first is hard to find. I’m so glad to say I now have a mechanic shop for life. They are so knowledgeable, fair & upfront. They did everything to make diagnosing a transmission issue for this single working mom as easy as possible. Knowing that someone is not over-charging you is BIG for me & they checked that box. Then making sure you are confident that you have someone who knows what they’re doing is HUGE. I have a lot of mechanic guy friends, they don’t specialize in rebuilding transmissions, but they were able to guide me. I highly recommend Texas Transmission Specialist! I brought my car in for transmission issues, and they did an incredible job rebuilding it. They were even able to program the new TCM that I had previously installed myself, which was a huge help. Beyond the transmission work, they fixed my wiring issues and were kind enough to help me install some additional parts I had already ordered. The team is friendly, communicative, and—most importantly—honest. It’s hard to find a shop you can trust, but these guys are the real deal. I’ll definitely be recommending them to all my friends and family!

Usually I do not ever give a review, but in this case I feel it’s important, when it comes to the amount of money involved in transmission repairs . Texans Transmissions did a great job on my transmission repair. They had financing options and had my transmission rebuilt in 3 days. Saved me a bunch of money and my truck runs better than when I purchased it. This Transmission Mechanics are absolutely the best! They offer free towing with the repairs and free Diagnostics as well as financing options! I see this other reviews here and trust me they don’t steal perfumes they actually donate to the people in true needs! They are hard working individuals!

I've had two cars in the shop one a chevy pick up truck the other a dodge 300 .the shop owner was very knowledgeable and a total professional. He got my vehicles fixed quickly and at a fair price. Then whike doing hot shot deliveries for a company out in Houston I broke down in a 3500 dodge. He sent a mechanic out to where I was in south Houston and got me going.
