Customer Reviews
He came and repaired my cluster panel in June and in October my panel went black again. he did not replace parts and the soldering work was shoddy. Do not recommend. Had to get someone to repair the panel correctly. In addition to that he just called my phone yelling at me about my review and how I contacted him. Very unprofessional. He said he does not respond to text but when he repaired my vehicle I had to text him my address. I’m confused. I also tried to call him to inquire about warranty on his work, no answer. But I received an unexpected call this am with his rudeness. Now he’s calling my phone and harassing me. I definitely don’t recommend!
Original post from July 2020 - I called to ask for a quote on the repair of the odometer in my truck, and the person who answered the phone was unprofessional and comically rude. I explained my situation and rather than ask further questions, the man said he did not know how to help me; when I told him I could give him more helpful information if he asked me questions, he responded with "well fine then" and hung up. This was comically bad, and not helpful in trying to fix my truck. I have found other places to go get my truck repaired. Response to owner- That was not what I was requesting. This only furthers my point that you did not listen to what I was requesting on the phone. You also might not remember the conversation as it took you 6 months to respond. Thank you, have a great day.
Doug was awesome! He fixed my instrument cluster in a matter of minutes. The man knows his stuff! You people need to read the ad. He ONLY works on instrument clusters for GM vehicles from 2003-2006/2007 (which were the years when GM had these issues with the instrument clusters) as well as 2005-2007 Ford Mustang instrument clusters. Doug does not care about your corporate etiquette. He is a gunslinger. He shoots from the hip and if you can't handle HIS etiquette, then get out of his saloon!
Mr. Doug was great and fixed the dash on my 2007 Tahoe that was lighting up! He knew exactly what he was doing and was very knowledgeable about the repairs made! I definitely will refer him to everybody that needs this service! A+++
The lights on the information panel (mileage, gear, etc.) in our Yukon were not working. The dealership wanted an arm and a leg (surprise) to replace the cluster and another option was to remove the cluster ourselves and ship it off to be repaired- still NOT cheap.... LUCKILY, I found Douglas Noack's Texas Instrument Cluster page. He was professional, friendly and honest. He drove across town, got the key from my husband and fixed it in 20 minutes while my husband was in a lunch meeting. He charged exactly what he quoted. No runaround, no monkey business. Just straight know how, honest work and talk about CONVENIENT! THANKS DOUGLAS!
