Thayne Carwash Express

I actually go out of my way to go to this car wash in thayne. Between the one here in Thayne, afton, Alpine and Jackson, the one in Thayne is by far the best one. The one in Afton is actually good too it is just wayyy out of my way, so I dont go to that one very often. But the Thayne and Afton car washes both run hot water in the winter and stay open all year round. And the one in Jackson does too. But it's a single bay and the line is always looking like a Disney World theme park ride line so that usually makes me skip that nonsense. Pro tip go at night 🤣 there isn't anyone there. You can take your time and not feel like you've got to rush because someone is waiting to go next. Kinda like a ride and theme park. Go at night you've got the park to yourself. 😁😅🤣😂😃

Awesome simple car wash. And the owner was there and even tried to give me time cuz I messed up the wax. Dude cares.

Stopped by the car wash on a visit to Star Valley, I needed to get the bugs off after a long trip. Debated using the touchless automatic but decided I was willing to get out and wash. Owner showed up before I pulled in and was very kind; he checked on everything. He actually saw that the truck in front of me was cleaning up their dirty trailer bed and went in and sprayed out the bay for me so it wouldn't get my car dirty, and even left me some free time on the wash. Definitely recommend for anyone who lives or passes by here!

Thayne car wash is very reasonably priced, and due to the low population of the town,has no wait. The machine works well and unlike many other similar car washes, the dryer gives you adequate time to exit slowly so your vehicle is dry when you hit the road. Also has vacuums on site and a vending machine with other car wash necessities.

No touch type automatic car wash. Does okay job but didn't get all the bugs off some harder to reach parts of the car. Did okay job on the windows which is important. Vacuum available for additional charge. Seems to be working better in summer of 2022.
