The Altenheim Senior Health Care Community

I can’t say enough wonderful things about The Altenheim. My mother lived there for 18 months and received exceptional care. Living out of state was difficult, but the staff became like family; always communicating, going above and beyond, and giving me peace of mind. The environment is warm and welcoming, and my mom was treated with incredible patience, kindness and care. After experiences elsewhere, nothing compares to Altenheim. I am deeply grateful to Daniel, Marcy, Kenisha, Taylor, Michelle, Laine, Luis, and so many others for all they do.

My brother and I toured The Altenheim and it felt much more "homey" to us than any other place we toured. We then got our mother on their waiting list. Once a semi-private room came open she moved in. They were very kind to our mom throughout, kept her warm and accommodated her vegetarian diet. The nurses cured her bed sores (from another facility) and got her up and about every day. As she declined they proactively recommend Hosparus care to us to add an additional layer of care and oversight. While no place is perfect they really took care of our mom and gave her a great sense of security, comfort and love. Heartfelt thanks to them.

I can not overstate how pleased our family has been with the staff, administration, and facilities at The Altenheim. After an exhaustive search, we were delighted find such a quality facility. The Altenheim is the best of the best in skilled nursing care! After enduring stays at two different nursing homes that were both for-profit and part of the big corporate chains in elder care, we found the Altenheim. So grateful we did! My siblings and I visit regularly, but finally have the peace of mind knowing that our mom is getting the quality care she deserves! The staff is amazing! They are experienced, professional, kind, friendly, have positive attitudes and are always willing to help. No place is perfect, but this place comes pretty close. Any issues or questions that arise are addressed/resolved quickly and with compassion and understanding. Thank you to the Altenheim for all you do, and for being the best kept secret in quality care for our elder community!

I’m so thankful for the staff at the Altenheim. My father is a resident who has lived at the Altenheim for 3 years. All the staff is competent and loving. The staff shows such compassion for their residents and communication between family and staff is easy and encouraged. They provide wonderful activities for the residents to stay busy and engaged. I can rest easy knowing my father is in a safe environment.
