Wow. I've taken my vehicles here for transmission work and it was okay. But after reading the Dexter Facebook page where some dude named Joe is making threats against another person there I'll never patronize this place again. If that's the sort of people who work there I'll go down the road a ways where that doesn't happen.

These people have been great. The women who works desk is fantastic. She knows her stuff

Highly recommend. Stopped in on July 8th 2025 with no appointment with a tire issue and the nice young man (who was working on a local Dexter police vehicle) came right out to assess the situation and didn’t charge me for checking it out for me. Now that’s the kind of place you can trust.

Their customer service is tons better than Brook's. They are often able to squeeze you in for appointments and willing to take the time to diagnose things and don't treat you like you're a bother. Pretty quick turn around as well as being conveniently located If they had more parking lot room, I'd have chosen this place to have my husband's truck towed to as well, because the other place we took it to was the most unprofessional place ever (that still couldn't figure out the problem and left the window wide open on the lot!) If we are in that situation again, definitely finding a way to have our vehicle towed here instead!

I had new transmission lines installed. Went from a small leak to a very big leak. I managed to get it to a manageable leak only used 2 gallons of transmission fluid until I could have it properly repaired. Then found out Auto Works left out one of the two bolts that hold up my transfer case. Had I used 4 wheel drive under much torque would have done damage. I almost stopped to talk to them but honestly why bother. DON’T do business there !
