The Contemporary

My mom moved into The Contemporary in February 2023, and the change in her life has been remarkable. Before coming here, she lived alone in an apartment and struggled with loneliness and depression. I worried constantly about her safety and well-being, and something as simple as a missed phone call would send me into worst-case scenarios. Fast forward to today, and she’s a completely different person. Her mood, confidence, and overall appetite for life have all lifted in ways I honestly wasn’t sure were possible at her age. The community itself is beautiful and always well maintained, but it’s the people who make it truly special. The staff is consistently caring, patient, and supportive. And I have to give a special mention to Sabrina, the activities director, she’s a true ray of sunshin

What an amazing and wonderful place. Patricia Duran and her team have really created something special here. My Gran was at The Palace in CG and let me tell you, there’s no comparison. The residents are all so upbeat and happy. We visited for an event today and all I can think about is telling everyone I know. People were smiling and dancing and just having fun. I spoke to at least 40 people and they all love the building and love the staff. The building itself is impressive. It’s gorgeous. So perfectly designed. They have a bar of course, a formal dining room with an excellent menu, a hair salon, gym, beautiful pool and an impressive lobby. I visit my friend at this place every week. My friend has been here for 2 1/2 years and she loves it. It’s very beautiful and welcoming. The staff and residents are very caring. It’s simply great!!

I have recently had the chance to visit The Contemporary Miami and was truly impressed. The space is beautiful, elegant, vibrant, and thoughtfully designed. What stood out most was the strong sense of community and the many enriching activities and outings available to residents. Socialization and engaging, enriching activities are crucial for maintaining independence and quality of life as we age. It’s wonderful to see that kind of care and dedication reflected in both the staff and the environment. I’d especially like to recognize Ivan Jimenez, the Community Relations Coordinator, who welcomed me so graciously. Ivan brings deep knowledge and a clear passion for supporting older adults in leading fulfilling, engaged lives.

I Had the wonderful opportunity to visit the Contemporary last month for a dear friend and I was so pleasantly surprised at how lovely the place was. Parking was easy and free, the Lobby was like entering a 5 Star hotel. The front desk was kind and helpful directing me where to go and all the time I visited I saw and met with very happy and satisfied residents and their quests. The entire facility was immaculate and I could really tell that the staff cared about what they doing. There was a well appointed cafe off the lobby entrance and a coffee and fresh juice station as well as a game room, big screen tv viewing room and a very nicely arranged library and craft making room. What a nice healthy energy the Contemporary was giving off and I could tell that the residents were loving it.
