The Driven Man / American Powertrain

I flew in from Chicago to see the Mercedes 350SD after Robert kindly shared several videos and photos of the car, which looked great. He was upfront about a few minor issues, which I was prepared to accept. However, upon inspection in person, the car’s actual condition was far different from what was presented. I found the following problems: • Oil leak beneath the fuel pump • ABS warning light illuminated • No glow plug buzzer • Moonroof inoperable • Cruise control not engaging • Rough shifting, with difficulty engaging gear on a hill • Broken antenna • Central locking not working • Driver’s seat sagging • Car in need of an alignment After traveling such a distance, it was extremely disappointing to discover the car required this much work—issues that were not disclosed or noticed by so
