The Kenwood is a top notch facility. I’d trust them implicitly to take care of my loved ones, and the staff and amenities they have are best in class. The lifestyle they provide to their residents make their lives happier and healthier.

You can tell when people care. When people are sincere, it makes you feel comfortable. The staff are genuine and helpful in all things. Jackie the programs director is magnificent! Kim and Roderick the drivers are outstanding!

This is the most unprofessional and misleading facility I have ever experienced. If you care about your family member’s safety, I would strongly advise against moving them here. The focus is clearly on money, not care. They promise adequate staffing—claiming 3–4 aides per floor—but in reality there is often only one aide covering an entire floor. Many of the care partners are untrained and overwhelmed. Management is dismissive of concerns. The DON (Desiree) does not take complaints seriously, and staff turnover is constant. Residents are allowed to physically hit staff without appropriate intervention, creating an unsafe and traumatic environment for everyone involved. Toured as a possibility for my parents. And the place was spec. Very hotel like, super clean, loaded with amenities. Great location for independent living close to mall, eateries, outdoor and Indoor activities. Really gives independent living plus assistance if needed. Culinary is excellent fun themed menus with culinary ideas from around the world. Hospitable and welcoming. Lots of different floor plans including townhomes, Penthouse spacious living to small units.

Do your homework if considering for Memory Care. Lots of promises and pledges go out the window once your loved one is in place. Rate hikes make it even more expensive once in. Some very caring staff members in this unit, however plenty of staff insubordination and turnover, inconsistencies with unit housekeeping, and overall cleanliness. Food is so-so. Executive staff unresponsive to concerns.
