The Parkwood

The best decision I ever made is to move here. Not only am I living the good life here at The Parkwood - I am three miles from the home I grew up in. The apartments are awesome! I have a one bedroom with a spacious kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom with the laundry room. Also three closets. The staff here are awesome. Nathan, Brittany, Sam, Rusty, and Jenni go above and beyond to extend their help where needed. We also have two awesome chefs, Matthew and Amber. Best oatmeal in the state at continental breakfast. Sherri is our amazing Activity Director and there is never a dull moment! The residents are very welcoming to new neighbors and make you feel right at home. People are what make a community like Parkwood thrive and we are definitely thriving!

As an OT who sees clients in their home setting, I love walking into the Parkwood as there's always smiling faces and people gathered to visit, play games, or learn during community education events. I am thoroughly impressed with the accessibility and layout of each apartment and the beautiful building as a whole. The team at The Parkwood takes the time to know each person who lives there and will go above and beyond to support each person as needs arise. I strongly recommend The Parkwood!

I moved into the Parkwood about a month or so ago and couldn’t be more pleased with my decision. There are many wonderful amenities here, including numerous fun activities to participate in if you wish to do so. The continental breakfast offers lots of nutritious options, and the evening meals are unbelievably amazing as well. Both residents and staff members have been so warm and welcoming, and the staff has been so helpful and willing to answer any questions I have. Parkwood has far exceeded all my expectations in all aspects.

I am grateful for my life at Parkwood. My family encouraged me to move here. The Parkwood staff immediately made me feel welcomed. I enjoy the beautiful facility and the opportunities to meet new friends. The great team makes sure our experience is first-class. Life is good at Parkwood.

We moved into an apartment at The Parkwood 18 months ago, and find it to be a warm atmosphere where neighbors have become friends. The days are filled with opportunities to participate in the activities and events that are offered. And the food that is available at our continental breakfast weekday mornings and the evening dinners is amazing. I would encourage anyone who is considering a move to a 55+ independent community to come visit us. You will find both staff and residents to be welcoming.
