The Quick Lane at Stuckey Ford

I brought my truck in for state inspection and an oil change while it was there. The team explained to me that they could not pass my truck due to excessive play in several suspension parts (tie rod, tie rod ends, and drag link) as well as my tires allegedly stuck out past the fenders too far. 1. If my tires stuck out too far, why even bother moving forward with inspection of the vehicle if that alone would not pass the vehicle. This is evident when looking at the vehicle in the parking lot. 2. After obtaining my vehicle, I inspected the suspension part conditions personally. I was not able to get any play what-so-ever out of the components. Additionally, I dropped the vehicle off with another mechanic and state inspection center for a second opinion.
