The Service Outlet

Having just purchased a beautiful used Lexus, I was in need of a trustworthy, efficient and friendly service provider. I have found that in Service Outlet, Lafayette! Art was super helpful and informative. I asked that they do a thorough inspection and list all the things it needed, I was determined to get it completely up to snuff. Well, Art and the techs there gave me great and honest feedback and estimates of future needed services, but told me all it needed for now was an oil change. They mishandled my car. I had to go back multiple times for the same issue and it never got fixed. They also tried to overcharge me for everything so make sure to negotiate down with them if you do business with them (which I don't recommend in the first place). The prices would consistently be around 30% more than they should be if you do research online. In total I wasted a couple of thousand of dollars here. Ended up going to a different place and it immediately got diagnosed and fixed. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

I had rodent damage under the hood of my car and was unsure of the extent. Before leaving on a road trip, I wanted to make certain that there were no issues that could crop up while driving through some remote area! Service Outlet completely checked out my car, cleaned all the detritus left by the rodents and made sure all else was in good running order. My car was repaired and returned to me in a day and a half. Repairs were done at a reasonable cost.

Great Service for my Toyota van. I brought it for needed maintenance and they did a great job on this as well as some suspension and steering issues. The steering issues were stubborn to diagnose and resolve but Service Outlet finally was able to get it fixed and they worked with me on getting it completed to my satisfaction.

The rear view mirror fell off the front window. I called the outlet, and he asked me to come by the center that morning if I could. I drove there, and he looked at the problem. He was able to fix it right there and then. He explained to me how to fix it if it happens again. It wasa a little tricky. He did not charge me for that. This older car is serviced at the service outlet when necessary and I find him very informative and reliable.
