The Smog Spot (Star Station)

I had an excellent experience at The Smog Spot. My original appointment was a few days earlier, but I was able to reschedule it without any issues. The person I spoke to over the phone was very helpful and made the process seamless. When I arrived, the front desk staff was polite and provided great customer service. The entire smog check was completed in just 10 minutes, which was incredibly efficient. They also honored their $15 discount since I scheduled an appointment in advance. I highly recommend The Smog Spot to anyone looking for a quick and professional smog test.

Overall awesome experience here - highly recommend! We needed a last minute smog check and tried to go to our usual spot without an appointment on a saturday, but they were closed. Looked up close by shops open on Saturday and this place had good reviews. Showed up and luckily there was no wait. Clint helped us and was professional, personable, and got us in and out. Place got busier as we were finishing up but he handled everyone there by himself and provided great service to everyone. Super impressed with this place and is now our go-to. Thank you!

I decided to go to this place because it has a 4.8 star review from Google, but it turned to be a bad experience. Very bad customer service really didn’t appreciate their service at all which I didn’t receive it. They were talking very rude you’re gonna lose Business if you behave like this with your customers. There was two guys one of them was Asian and his behavior was very good but the other dude, he was very rude.

I called this smog shop to ask about the price. They told me it was $68.99, and if I made an appointment, they would give me a $20 discount. I agreed and drove there, but I arrived about 7–8 minutes late because I was in the middle of something and had to stop and drive 20 minutes to get there. When I arrived, they told me they would not honor the discount because I was a few minutes late, even though the shop was not busy at all. They didn’t consider the situation and simply told me to go somewhere else. I felt this was unfair and unprofessional, especially since I still showed up and the delay was very small. They were just making excuses so they wouldn’t have to give me the discount.

I’ve been coming here for many years. The employees are always friendly and incredibly courteous, making every visit a breeze. Their service is fast but never rushed. They’re thorough, professional, and clearly know what they’re doing. I always leave feeling reassured that my car’s in the right hands. If you schedule an appointment, you get a discount. It’s efficient, affordable, and run by people who genuinely care. The Smog Spot sets the bar high. Highly recommend!
