I called and got service the same day. My tire needed a patch because of a nail and was calling around for places to get price estimates and see if places were busy. The place I first called told me they were too busy and to come back another day.. as a busy mom with too many things going on, hearing that felt like a nightmare. The second place I called estimated me almost $200 just to get a tire patch and it was gonna take all day to get to my car. I call this place and the kind lady on the phone was efficient and helpful. She said come in at 1 and they’ll get my tire patched up , which worked perfect for my schedule. I nervously asked how much it would be and she said $20 ! I about fell out my chair. The decision to support small business is always a good one. Got a new set of tires ordered up and installed. They were able to help me in a squeeze on Christmas Eve AND saved me money compared to other estimates. The service was friendly and efficient. Rick and Sara Johns, owners of The Tire Shop of Plant City, are my former sixth-grade students, so my review may be slightly prejudiced. Rick is a gifted technician and man of many talents, and Sara runs the business like a boss. In the past, Rick installed front and rear Sumo Springs on my Thor Sequence Class B RV, and Sara gave me a great price on four new tires for my Mercury Mountaineer. Last week, I got a low tire pressure dashboard notification on my Lexus GX 460. I drove down to the tire shop, and as always they took care of me and got me back on the road. I had a major flat tire 2/22/2022 in the morning while traveling to work in Tampa. I ran over a container of nails and after waiting on my road side assistance, I stopped in to get a used tire just so I could get back on the road to go to work. Everyone from the front desk woman to the mechanics was so stinking nice and after the morning I had, this type of hospitality was much needed!! I’m not an expert on car mechanics or tire stuff but the red headed bearded gentleman was kind enough to show me where on the tire I could look to see the size, he got me all fixed up and back on the road to work in two shakes of a lambs tail. I would recommend this wonderful, friendly, and economical tire shop everyday of the year!! They will treat you great with a big smile and a wave goodbye as you are a
