The Tradition-Clearfork Independent Living

I am very happy living in the Independent Living section of The tradition. My husband was well taken care of on the memory care floor. Family must be involved and can share in a support group. The Assisted Living section for another family member, was not as satisfying. Very lonely and meal delivery cold, items excluded for them and sparse activity. Though Happy Hour is nice.The hallways are cold and the shared living area has nothing going on in the afternoon on each floor. It is probably the best facility around, but improvement for seniors needing assistance could be improved almost everywhere I have observed.

My mother spent the last year of her life in an independent living apartment isolating at The Tradition before she passed. She was 88, with the onset of dementia and rarely left her apartment. She became very confused and angry. She was also diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. I was her primary family care giver along with my sister as she became sicker and more confused by the day, eventually put under hospice care who prescribed morphine throughout the day and other drugs to manage her pain and symptoms. As adult children in our 60's, we expected the executive staff to listen and take seriously our input and concerns regarding her behavior with the dementia and being heavily medicated. They did not. While, my husband George Bristol and I are still learning about living in our new home, we are grateful to be at The Tradition. The staff and residents are warm and welcoming. We look forward to participating in all that is offered as time allows. Gretchen Denny

This place is a joke. The executive director Alun does nothing to fix the problems and trying to call corporate is a waste of time. My parents and other residents that we have had conversations with have the same complaints when it comes down to housekeeping. They do not clean properly and they have no compassion when it comes down to the residents. Maria the housekeeping director ignores calls and so does the executive director Alun. They use to have a young lady that was a housekeeper there that cared and made sure my parents apartment was cleaned to the standards that my parents loved but she is no longer there. I left a message for Alun to see if I could get this ladies number in hopes of hiring her for my parents and of course no response. The main dining area and bistro has mice and

I just love traditions for my mother in fort Worth at 3033 Acme Brick plaza there's just a few things there's some activities that she's been asked to participate in some of them she cannot but then there's some that she just loves like going to see the puppies and doing flower arrangements and going to see the movies at the movie theater and going to see the entertainment she just loves it and the food is just very exceptional and they give you plenty of food to eat and the waiters and waitresses are just always hand and foot and all the directors I've met they're very nice and the maintenance people on demand they get things done for you and the physical therapy people are very professional and upstanding but there's just something a few things that require a little bit of twerking but i
