The Willows at Springhurst

We didn’t know what we should do… but through a fortunate process, found Trilogy at Springhurst as a perfect place for my wife, who was suffering from Alzheimer’s. We found the staff to be exceedingly qualified and friendly. I moved onto the third floor in independent living about the time my wife deceased. This is the perfect place for me. I find great value in relating to the staff and getting to know very interesting people. I can’t see myself being anywhere else.

The care and compassion shown by the staff has been outstanding. Our loved one was treated with respect and dignity, and the staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure comfort and well-being. Clean facility, attentive caregivers, and excellent communication.

In my opinion, Shay & her staff in the Memory Care section at the Willows at Springhurst are 5-star, amazing caretakers. They went above & beyond to ensure our loved one was looked after & tended to in a family-oriented community area. In addition, Shay & her staff took the extra steps to help our family navigate the sometimes difficult path of managing a loved one in a Memory Care setting. However, we do rate the facility as a 4-star: We suggest staying on top of your loved ones’ expected doctor visits; the list of any medications and/or rehab & labwork that is ordered; rehab, pharmacy, lab & facility billing statement details; and be prepared for shifts that are short on help due to staffing issues.

My mom was only here for a few short months before she passed away, and I just wanted to say that she was treated with kindness and compassion. I was as well. Shay and her staff in the memory care unit are special people, and I won’t forget.

My Dad came to The Willows following a short hospital stay. He was meant to receive rehab treatment that would help him regain his strength. My Mom spent most of every day with him to ensure he received proper care. She noticed immediately she had to advocate for basic things like making sure he was eating and that someone was changing his diaper. He developed a bedsore on his rear need within a few days due to their neglect. He seemed to be getting weaker and weaker rather than stronger. Nobody in the facility seemed concerned about that. His nose was running all of the time and he started holding his head down. He became unresponsive and my Mom had to seek help from the nurses. They came in and checked his oxygen.
