These people are highly skilled. Huge thanks to James and his crew at Thomson Auto & Diesel. James opened the shop on his day off just to help me get my truck safely back on the road before I hit the highway, that alone says everything about this place. Good, highly skilled people who’ve been through hell and back and still show up to help others. They were the only shop willing and able to work on everything the truck needed, including the boom, trailer, and truck. These men some of whom were chewed up and spit out banded together with the skills they learned in the military. These are genuine, hardworking men. If you support veterans who’ve paid the ultimate sacrifice and you want the job right, give them a call. You won’t regret it.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! My ex took my car here. They called 5 times in one day changing the total of the repairs. I went to see the car and it ran like crap. They demanded I give them the title because I wasn’t paying for the repairs I NEVER APPROVED MY EX DID! I denied giving them the title. They put a lien on the car for $7000. The original total was $600. When I went to pick up the car it was $900 idk how it ended up being $7000. THE CAR WAS NEVER FIXED!!! How was the original invoice $4,619.97???? You said yourself it was $900

I had been taking my car to another place for my mechanical work. But, every time they had my car, they would have it for a week or so (which set me back financially because I would have to use Uber back and forth to work, which was 40+dollars each way a day) at one time earlier in the year I had electrical issues and they had my vehicle for a whole month. I finally asked the contact why it was taking so long and he said that they were working on my car in-between appointments. ??? But, at Thompsons, I showed up with multiple issues on one of my days off and they quickly started working on it. They had the issues resolved and the car fixed in one day. ( no uber required). I was in need of an independent diesel repair shop and expert diesel mechanic. I profiled two shops and chose this one. James Thompson spent considerable time on the phone with me answering about thirty questions. I was pleased with his answers and chose this shop. They are BBB certified and rated A plus. On-line reviews were good. I met with him in person and he listened to my needs. He answered all my questions before repairs were made. He kept me informed during the repairs and also sent me photos. The work done was excellent. I was concerned about some new transient noises after the repair. To evaluate these he took my truck home for the weekend and drove it around. I’ve had a LOT of mechanics over the years… But James & family have took care of everything I’ve brought to him… Treated me right on pricing as well as efficiency in getting my trucks/cars /equipment back to whilst keeping me up to date on diagnosis on anything he has of mine over there.
