Thrifty Car Rental - Philadelphia International Airport

Fairly easy process to pick up the car, we were looked after by , Carmen, a slight issue with allocated car but soon resolved with another. Returning the car was a very simple process, left the keys in the car and boarded the shuttle. All the staff we encountered were courteous and professional. Would recommend.

Cheap upfront cost but they will scam you by giving you an electronic car and not telling you how long it takes to charge. It takes 16 hours to charge. Would’ve been helpful to know. Then they charge your credit card for not returning it full charge.

I had an absolutely terrible experience. The line was long and only one employee was helping customers, even though two other associates were inside the office. I waited for 17 minutes without much movement in the line and said screw it, then did the online check-in, which is a hoax to pay $35 to do. It saves everyone more time, and clearly your company isn't hiring enough people, so you save on employee cost while charging customers for something that also benefits you. The car was disgusting. It smelled like marijuana and cigarette smoke, and was filthy. The back seat had something sticky spilled on it. I think it was probably soda of some kind, but not sure exactly what it was. I told the associate at the gate and he wrote a note on my receipt, which I have a picture of and can send. He

It was a terrible experience, they give me an electric car that I have never driven. When I asked go give an alternative same level of car, just not electric, they added $40 to my rental. This is absurd. I had to take it cause I had no time to find another and I had pre-booked it. The car they gave was not even clean, they said you can get 15 refund if you get a car wash yourself. I mean why would I wash the car that cost obviously more than $15 dollar and on top of the expense of my time that I paying the rental amount for. Plus I had to wait about 25 min in freezing cold to get the shuttle to airport.

Ordered a rental car deal on priceline. I was given a car at Philadelphia airport through Thrifty. The car was "deal of the day 44% savings." Car was 100% electric. Didnt know how/where to charge and even drive it. I was given no instruction or offered an alternative for more money. Never rent from them again! Buyer beware deal of the day!!!
