Thrifty Car Rental - Raleigh - Durham International Airport

The Thrifty car rental company at the Raleigh/Durham International Airport was wonderful to work with. The employees were professional, patient, kind and very helpful. Their vehicles are always clean and new ...And, there are always many models to choose from. Their prices are in line with, or a bit less than other rental companies. There have never been any surprises. What a great concept! Thanks Thrifty employees.

Thrifty was a great choice for our trip to Raleigh. The rental price was affordable, the car was reliable, and the deposit was returned the very next day. Jeff at the desk did an awesome job getting us set up and was very patient throughout the process. Abou was great as well—he helped us with a seamless drop-off and made sure we got close to the shuttle with all of our bags. Fast, reliable service all around. Highly recommend!

Was given “upgrade” due to them not having my car. Went from a compact to a beep wrangler. Hooray a larger gas tank now. Also had to pay an additional $35 for the unexpected n not wanted upgrade. When I returned the car I was then hit with $30 in BS fees. Nothing that I did just hidden charges on the back end that I never experience with other rental car companies. They’ll give some DA answer to this I’m sure. Avoid this place if possible.

When I checked in Kerry was my agent. She is so welcoming and extremely kind. She made me feel so welcome. If she would have been single I would have asked her out. Such professionalism all the way around. The cars are well kept. This is how a rent a car agency should be like and as I remember it from my younger years. Thank you Kerry, staff who works on the other side of the curtain, and Thrifty for taking care of me.

Wow what an experience! This place is horrible. Use Hertz they are in same location, they have multiple people checking you out. While I waited in line for 1hr 10 minutes for thrifty to check out 5 people, Hertz was moving people. Also don't rent an electric car, they have no idea if they were charged, and told me I would have to go find a charging place to be able to start my trip. They said they could upgrade me to a gas car and double my original quote and put me in a 2 year old car with 42k miles on it, wrecked and very unsafe car. Horrible customer service, horrible communication from corporate and they don't give a damn about people. The car was filthy and I felt I needed a tetanus shot after driving it.
