Tidal Wave Auto Spa | Car Wash

In past, I have used tidal wave wash at multiple locations. All typically provide a great wash. I’m sad to report that the tidal wave auto spa in car wash in Winchester. Virginia only gets a one from me and if I could make it less than that, I certainly would. Not only has this been the second poor quality service, When I returned to show the operator that the car was certainly not clean, he commented “what do you want me to do? This is not a full service wash.” He took his broom and aggressively washed the side of the car and broke off the side light. He then proceeded to ” Fix it” by attaching painters, tape. This one, of course will have to be fixed on our dime, The best course of action was to just leave.

Another fantastic tidal wave Auto spa! I really enjoy going to this chain of car washes because there's so many of them and they get your car so clean! Everyone here was friendly and quick.

Today I get a call back telling me they have video evidence that the scratches were already there. Then in the phone call which I recorded, they told me that if the vehicle is over 10 years old, company policy is they do not repair anything. You can literally see where whatever scratched my window went around where they tucked my mirrors in. Obviously it was the car wash if it went around the mirrors. One of the worst car wash experiences I’ve ever had — save your money. Tidal Wave Auto Spa is a complete disappointment from start to finish. For a place that markets itself as a premium car wash, the service is laughably bad. My car came out still dirty, streaked, and spotted — somehow worse than when I went in. What exactly am I paying for here? The equipment feels outdated or poorly maintained, the wash is rushed, and the results are completely inconsistent. Basic things like wheels, mirrors, and lower panels were clearly ignored. If I wanted a half-assed rinse, I could’ve done that in my driveway. Customer service is just as bad. All the staff are great people. Very cordial and friendly. I had to alter my plan to drop one vehicle and had no information about how to do so. The site manager was very helpful and polite in taking care of it. Great environment. Great cleaning products and awesome staff. I would honestly give more than 5 stars, but it wasn’t an option.
