I hate to even give this place 1 star. Terrible experience- I was taken advantage of. My car was overheating while idling but fine while moving- googled the issue and found it was most likely the cooling fan. I’m new to the area and am trying to find a mechanic, so I called Tim’s Auto and dropped it off. Over the phone, he confirmed it was most likely a cooling fan issue. After a few hours, I get a call that they have diagnosed the problem as the cooling fan and it will need to be replaced. They gave me an estimate of $700. Since I drive an older car, I decided I would rather look into buying another used vehicle instead of putting more money into my 19 year old car, and decided not to do the repair. I was then told (for the first time) that there was a diagnosis fee of $100/hr for labor.

Tim has been servicing my fleet vehicles for 20 years, always highest quality work at a very fair price. He's the best I've ever worked with!
