Tires Plus

Kurt was extremely helpful and saved me a lot of $$, giving me recommendations on what did and did not actually need to urgently be done on my vehicle. Being in my slow season, any penny saved is appreciated. Being a woman, it’s nice to go into a shop and not feel taken advantage of—As many mechanics in the past have done unnecessary work, knowing that I do not know up from down when it comes to vehicle repairs. Thanks for a great experience!

I chose tires plus when I needed new tires, it being my first time using these guys cause im newer to the area. im not upset about having to have my tires order, im more upset about them telling me I have to walk in 10° degree temps about a mile there and back to the nearest dealership for lugg nuts, if it was nicer weather I wouldnt have cared but its snowing and 10° degrees out. needless to say I had to make the walk but why wouldnt you send a worker in a car or like a parts running person? Not to mwntion the put the old ones back on and sent the car out like i didnt leave to get the parts yall wouldnt get for me!!!! To me this was unfair not smart and probably the last time I visit this establishment, do your research before just picking a spot folks!!!!

I brought my vehicle into your forest lake location November 25th the to have my windshield washer pump replaced. Picked it up the 26 the at close. Thinking cool problem fixed. How wrong I was . So brought it back the 28th. Called and called through the day. Finally just showed up at 4pm to see how progres was coming along. It was untouched , still in the same parking spot. They said they don't know when they'll get to it. Left frustrated. Received a phone call at close saying my car is complete. Tested pump while it was in the shop, it worked great, but that was the only time it worked. So basically I'm not bringing it back a 3rd time to be let down or frustrated yet again. Would recommend tires plus in forest lake to anyone! Came in for a leaky tire repair they did a full vehicle inspection and Kurt sure I knew of future items on my car to take care of. Plus they have great prices on tires which I have purchased from them twice.

I have a single tire losing air and wanted to grind down the rim for a better seal. Called and made an appointment and was told it would take about 30min. Had a busy day scheduled but carved out enough time for this. This morning I woke up to an engine light. Arrived at Tires Plus and asked about them checking the engine light. I was told they could get the code for free but to run it through their computer and figure out what it was would be $120. I clarified I didn't want them to fix anything and only tell me the code and they said it would take an hour and cost $120. On top of that, I was told the rim grinding would actually take "at least an hour". They blamed it on the "new kid" answering the phone. I declined their services and left.
