Tokyo Automotive Repair is nothing but a scam operation. You be the judge of it. Here is what I experienced. I started having charging problems with my 2013 Toyota Avalon. Replaced the battery and the problem continued. I finally determined it needed alternator replacement. I took the car in and asked for a quote to replace the alternator. They said the car should be diagnosed before they can give a quote at a price of $235 refundable against actual repair if I accepted their quote. They had my car for a day or so and came back with a detailed repairs and recommendations amounting to over $13000. Most of the recommendations were standard anticipated maintenance for a car of my car’s age. Not based on any actual faults. Amongst all the recommendations were a quote for $1500 for the altern

I had such a minor issue with my car that was going to cost me hundreds through the dealership, but Kevin took the time to explain to me exactly how I could do it for much cheaper, and set aside time for the team to work on my car.
