This is the first repair we've had done in Florida as snow birds from Iowa. I was a little apprehensive being new in town. I got an estimate from a second business in Port Charlotte. Tom Joyce's estimate was less so I decided to use them. The repairs were done on time as promised and I was even charged less than the estimate! I expected some upselling silliness but there was none of that. You have to love that kind of integrity! I highly recommend this business. Mark and Darla P.

I have to say this is the best shop around! Honesty an Integrity are big for them and it shows in every aspect every time I have been there! I recently ran into an issue on my classic car that I was having a difficult time getting solved and it took Tom Joyce no time to not just figure out but the parts for and fixed at a very reasonable price. Had them do a starter since I have recently moved and I don’t have my tools. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, work was done in a short amount of time, and priced VERY reasonably. This shop has definitely earned their good reviews and reputation, and they deserve every bit of it!

I have been taking my cars to Tom Joyce for 10 years now and every.single.time he and his team deliver phenomenal results. Recently I took my car in because the power steering fluid was leaking - i had taken it to 4 other shops and had a wide range of quotes. For the power steering alone I was looking at 1.8k due to TWO parts needing to be replaced The last shop I took it to quoted me a 6,000.00 repair for my power steering + an assortment of items that are going wrong on my car. I drive a 07 Toyota Highlander with 218,000 miles on it. I did door dash and delivered pizzas for a year- I expected the 6k bill but wanted to take it to Tom's because I know he will always give me a fair and honest price. I'll start by saying I've been a Certified mechanic since 1987 and do all of my own work due to being a perfectionist and not trusting dealerships or most shops I've ever been to. Let me just say Tom Joyce Automotive is a rare, honest establishment that lives up to all the great reviews you see here and elsewhere. Tom and the entire team were super thorough and kept me updated with multiple options to choose from. Will definitely be back and couldn't recommend them more!
