Tony @ Tomoko is the best! He always takes care of my cars and trucks. I know I can trust Tony to do an amazing job and keep me laughing the whole time. He has worked on my Tacoma, 4Runner and my partner’s Prius. He is the only person I will take my cars to and I know they will be on the road for many years to come. If you need a mechanic, call Tony. He is the man!

Tony is great! He’s so friendly and nice. I called him after I got a quote from another shop regarding my lower control arms. His price was significantly cheaper than what the other shop had quoted me so I made an appointment. I brought in my car and Tony was able to look at it and let me know the control arms could actually wait another year or two before needing to be repaired. He was so kind and didn’t charge us anything 🙂

I had a good experience at Tomoko Auto Care Center in Seattle. They’re known for being honest and not trying to sell you a bunch of unnecessary repairs — the mechanic explained everything clearly and didn’t push extra services on me. Locals also say Tony and the team are friendly and fair with pricing, so I felt like I could trust them with my car repairs

My encounter with Tony at Tomoko Auto Care Center was most disappointing. I was charged for premium parts, yet upon inspection, found lesser components installed — evidence of which I hold in both photograph and invoice. When I sought an explanation, none was forthcoming; my calls went unanswered, and silence prevailed where integrity should have spoken. If one is so hard pressed for money, better to appeal for aid than to deceive those who place their trust in you. Perhaps others shall fare better, but in my experience, this gentleman conducted himself in a manner most unbecoming — and decidedly shady.

It was really nice talking to Tony, knowledgeable with the car, being straight forward with the problems, and not upselling any unnecessary maintenance. 100% recommend
