They serviced the CVT trans. in my Nissan, including changing the often missed "mystery filter" hidden behind the drivers side wheel-tire, and inner fender well skirt. I stayed around and observed these pros as they had to dismantle this all in order to access this filter, and then put it back together..Many shops either don't know about, or simply ignore this obscure, difficult to access filter. (it isn't even in the dealerships parts catalogue for this year-model vehicle, but these guys knew it was there). I got the bill and was pleasantly surprised as it was well below what I expected. This place is amazing!!!! My transmission was slipping on my 2014 Ford 350 diesel crew cab. For months, I've taken my truck to a couple of different shops, and nobody could diagnose it even when my husband supplied them with the codes that were thrown. I finally found TopGear (through many of the excellent 5 🌟 reviews). The owner listened to my description of what was wrong. He replied,"Let's start with the least expensive thing 1st." WHAT?!!!! He was concerned about the cost to me?!!!!! Unheard of!!!!!! He checked the transmission filter, which was loose, and removed it. Then he checked the O-ring, which had a crimp in it and was the wrong size. He went next door and bought the correct filter with the correct O-ring from NAPA. He installed these items ($99 😱🫨🙌🏻)!!! My old 89 Dodges transmission had some problems when I stopped in town for the night. I called top gear and the assured me I could come in the next business day and get checked out. Luckily it was an easy fix and the shop was able to patch me up and get me back on the road that day. Friendly and honest folks that were very professional. Thanks again! Def recommend!

Incredible, incredible, and more incredible! We have a 32 foot rv and the transmission went out in Gold Beach. As a single female traveler, I am always afraid of breaking down in the middle of nowhere. While driving down the Oregon coast my van began to act weird. It wouldn't pick up speed after 15mph. I stopped at a gas station repair and the mechanic told me to go see Top Gear. The rebuild of my transmission was supposed to take about 4 days because they were booked and it was right after Labor Day weekend. Devon was so nice. He and his team were so helpful and made me feel safe. They went above and beyond my expectations.
