Huge shoutout to Captain Alex from TowBoatUS Neshaminy (owned by the same folks as TowBoatUS Philly I think) who helped us out 07/27/24 after some mechanical issues left us stranded north of the Burlington Bristol Bridge. He showed up in less than 20 minutes, got us rigged and towing in less than 5 minutes. We were more than 10 nm from our boat ramp and we got there safely and way faster than I thought we would. Having someone so chill, knowledgeable and clearly extremely proficient in his craft helping us out was a huge relief. Unlimited Gold TowBoatUS membership paid for itself 10x with this single tow and customer service was outstanding, got a customer for life. Thanks Capt. Alex and TowBoatUS!

Had a great experience with TowBoatUS from Philly yesterday. Ryan went above and beyond to assist us. I managed to ground my 27 foot sailboat on a sandbar during a receding tide. Ryan arrived and tried to get us off the sandbar but only solution was to wait for the incoming tide. He stayed on station with us and then worked to gently and safely get us back in action. Made what could have been a scary situation into something we can now laugh about. Thank you Ryan for the assist!

I broke down on the Delaware River Sunday July 26. TowBoatUS was there in less than 1 hour. "Captain Buckley" was prompt, courteous, and professional. Was I embarrassed? Well maybe a little, however, not as embarrassed as I would have been without the towing insurance. Thank you Captain Buckley and TowBoatUS. I highly recommend this company to anyone who has a boat. So we laugh now, but turning around to see your motor missing from your sailboat is enough to make your heart stop (pretty sure ours did). Somehow it was hanging on by the gas line trailing behind us under water! We gingerly pulled it back into the boat, but could not get it started. Time to call in the cavalry! We started sailing back toward the marina and a short 45 minutes later Captain Grace with TowBoatUS came to save us! She had a mechanic on board and he taught us how to drain the water out of the fuel line and got the motor running well enough for us to limp back to our slip at Winter's Marina.
