Customer Reviews
I’m very disappointed with Toyota today. I always have a great experience until I took my car for service and one of my belongings went missing. I had left the item charging and they claimed they never seen it. If I went to the dealer with the item there how is it possible that it went missing. I’m not trying to blame the mechanic or the service guy but sometimes upon arrival other people grab my car and move it they are just service helpers. They really need to more careful with this because I should be allowed to leave things in my car since it’s my personal car and be able to go to service with confidence that things will be kept in please very disappointing.
I had the best experience working with Kevin! He’s by far the most responsible and helpful car salesperson I’ve ever dealt with. Kevin took the time to recommend a car that truly fit my needs, and he patiently explained everything I wasn’t sure about — no pressure, just support. Thanks to him, I found an amazing car that I absolutely love. Big thank you to Kevin for making the whole process smooth and stress-free!!
I went to them to repair my car radio. They took $2,700 from me and told me they had to remove it and send it to another company to exchange it for a new radio because they don't do repaired. They said it would take between two to three weeks. However, six weeks have passed, and they still haven’t provided me with a new radio. I asked for a refund, but they refused, claiming that the other company is not responding to them. Now, they have both my radio and my money, and they have no idea when the new radio will arrive or if the company will send my old radio back . They just want me to wait forever without giving me my money back. Also, after they took the radio, I could no longer see the rearview camera when reversing, and the remote start feature stopped working. They don’t care about an
I went and had my car serviced 2 weeks ago. Rotating my tires was one of the things they did. And after giving them over $700. I am currently sitting on the side of the highway with one lugnut missing, and the others completely lose. Thank you Toyota. I'll be calling in the morning. And I'm NEVER going back to Lincolnwood Toyota. I wish I could do negative stars. This could have caused a horrible accident for me. SO FREAKING PISSED. Oh, and it midnight at that. With nothing around me.
Over-Tightened Oil Filter Housing Led to Maintenance Challenges I have been taking my car to this Toyota service center for regular servicing for quite some time. While the service has generally been satisfactory, my recent experience has been quite troubling. In December 2023, I visited the center for a routine service, during which the mechanic who worked on my vehicle over-tightened the oil filter housing. Recently, under the guidance of a mechanic, I attempted to change the oil filter myself. To my surprise, the oil filter housing was so tight that it was almost impossible to unscrew. Despite using two different approved oil filter wrenches and even a 15-inch, 1/2-inch drive ratchet for extra leverage, I couldn't get it to budge. This over-tightening not only makes it difficult for r
