Toyota Service Chattanooga

Very disappointed to say the least. Took my Tundra there for what I thought was a bad starter and an occasional misfire on #1 cylinder. It was closer to have it towed to Capital so I did knowing I'd have to pay a little more. After 1-1/2 weeks I get a call from them wanting to replace the started for $1900. I consider this theft. That is more than double what I was charged in the past for a starter and $700 more than the highest average repair price. I had it towed somewhere else. After 1 day, turns out it was a loose negative starter bolt that was causing all the issues. Capital either hadn't even looked at it or was about to get me for $1900 for a loose bolt. Had a tree limb in my driveway attack my 6 days owned car. After learning that it had been totaled due to the electrical damage done to the car we obtained another car through the Toyota dealership on Lee Highway here in Chattanooga Tennessee.

Capital Toyota management questioned if my last review was for the correct dealership, yes it was. I don’t know how you don’t have a record of my truck. It was in the service department for 17 days, I had the truck back for 2 days and same issue reoccurred. It’s back in your service department. August of 2024 it was in service for same issue. I guess it’s acceptable for new Toyota cars to have mechanical issues before 40,000 miles.

Toyota treats their customers like family and takes care of my car flawlessly.

I'm from out of town and am here for a wedding. I forgot to get an oil change before I left and needed to get one done. They squeezed me in the next day and had it done within 40 minutes with an inspection. Everyone was extremely friendly, and they even gave me a coupon to use for that oil change! Amazing service, both physical and customer!
