Toyota Service

My mom, brought her car to I-10 Toyota in Indio on 12/16/25 for maintenance. We had to leave in an Uber since they kept the car. A service advisor named Eddie said all four tires were “bad” and , made it seem like repairs couldn’t continue without replacing them. My mom agreed to two front tires and inspection fee after being told the warranty would cover everything else. We were told the car would be ready Friday. Thursday we were told more issues were found and parts needed to be ordered, delaying it until Monday. Monday came and calls were ignored, only a text saying “the car isn’t ready yet.” It has now been over a week with no updates, no timeline, and no offer of a loaner or rental. Just had a very bad experience with the Service dept at this dealership. Went in for something a parking break malfunction code, and ended up being charged for something that has nothing to do with the parking break issue. I was told that the gas cap was not tighten enough and was charged for them tightening the gas cap. An EVAP code never came on my dashboard. I was never told that the parking brake issue was address or if they even found anything wrong with it. Asked to speak to service director when I had first arrived and was told he was in a meeting and was directed to service manager. She said the same thing the service consultant said and at the end of the day I just wanted to get out of there. Paid my reduced bill and left. I wouldn't recommend taking to this dealership for

They wanted me to do a trade in I wouldn't do it Then they used the sellers right to cancel without any indication that this could happen. Then they arranged for a tow pickup without being informative. The people that witnessed it said I should sue them. I suggest they go pick up there car.

I stopped by with the intent to buy a car. I was greeted by a young man with wonderful customer service, as well as the sales manager. I was hesitant and wanted final numbers, like any customer I want to shop around. When I went to get the final numbers, a woman with black skirt and tan top inside the sales office rolled her eyes directly at me. With that nasty attitude and desire to kill the sale for her colleague, I chose to walk away. I rather drive out of town, then be back and see her ugly face.

If I could give no stars I would. This dealership is a ripoff. Please do not patronize this establishment! I paid the service department $250 to repair my air conditioning unit. They said the battery was the issue and I could replace it for another $320. My battery was not that old, so I decided to take it back to the place I purchased it. The auto parts store I took it to told me there was absolutely nothing wrong with my battery. I took my vehicle to another auto parts store and they said the same, my battery was good. So my air conditioning was never fixed by this toyota dealer because they said the battery was the problem, but of course they said I needed my brakes serviced and a new air filter total cost over $900 which i declined.
