TPA Rental Car Center

The TPA Car Rental Center is fantastic. The direct connection via the SkyConnect train from the main terminal is incredibly convenient and fast. Having all rental companies in one modern building makes pickup and return seamless. This facility truly sets the standard for efficiency and convenience. A five-star experience!

Getting car took quite a while even though I confirmed on line. Car was clean and ran well after I found the gear shift, odd placement. I should have taken toll add on as trips took much longer without it. Return was fantastic. Because we required wheelchair for long walks someone drove us to our dropoff point. Service was great. I would definitely use them again.

It was easy to get to & drop off the rental car here, great signage, easy to follow. I LOVE, LOVE, the bag drop feature, which is right inside the rental center. So far, this is the only airport I've flown into that has this option, feature within the car rental center. Staff was amazing, helping you navigate thru, tagging your bags then giving directions to the people mover, that gets you to the terminal. Even if you don't or can't use the bag drop, depending on your airline, getting to the terminal is a real easy off & on with the people mover. Another feature I love is that each gate had security/TSA, which makes it really easy & convenient. Lines ho pretty fast, but of course it depends when/what time you travel. My first experience at this center has been very positive. I dropped off a vehicle and was being picked up by a friend. Can be a little confusing but a brief visit to an information desk made the process easy. If someone is picking you up, send them your location. I really like that you don't have to get into all the normal airport terminal traffic to access this facility.

Hassle free pickup and return. The adjacent Sky Center has a comfortable seating area to wait for a bus or ride share.
