Happy I found this place after getting screwed by the mechanic shop down the street (Windy City muffler and breaks 👎). Jr. and his crew at tramcar did solid work fixing my Rear main seal. Best customer service I’ve experienced at a shop. Clear communication, timely, fair price, and over all attentive. Even my dog Luna had a great time there. lol

Came to them after my 2017 Ford Escape started hard shifting due to a transmission issue. It was an excellent experience from start to finish. Their attention to detail was impressive, and they (Jr) kept me informed every step of the way with clear, honest, and transparent communication. The quality of the repair work was top-notch — they addressed all the issues thoroughly and got my vehicle running perfectly again. Seriously the car is driving like brand new. They are highly rated for a reason. Highly recommend!

My car had been pausing when I accelerated, and then surging forward when I accelerated, intermittently for quite a few months but I could not land on the reason and finally brought it in to Cary and the guys. They too could not find the problem and no codes were coming up. I was feeling frustrated talking to Junior, who calmly helped me freaking out in a tizzy and said "if you can give us a few days without a car, my boss is determined to figure this out." After the first 24 hours it was not acting up for them, they called me again to touch base and I said please keep trying. Came in with a failed clutch on my 2013 Subaru Forester. Cary and Junior gave a very intimate and thorough review of the problem and provided several solutions. A deposit for the labor was required before any inspection is conducted. The work took ~1.5 weeks and seems to have been done well. They also recommended some Muffler work be done by Windy City down the road and I got good treatment there too. I was well taken care-of and will be back!

Tramcar did a fantastic job fixing my car. They took care of everything from start to finish, were completely honest, and never tried to upsell me on anything. It’s great to see they are a full-service garage now. highly recommend! Jr was great to work with.
