Trans Pro Transmission

Transmission went out in my 2024 gmc truck. Stewart was the best! Did all the work with the extended warranty company, kept me informed of the process, and once the paperwork was done rebuilt the transmission fast. Really went above and beyond to help me out. Definitely recommend this shop!!

Stuart tries to take care of my needs when I bring my GMC Yukon XL . It does take months to get in to get it repaired or looked at. I just he had more reliable staff to help repair those vehicles and check them out more thoroughly.

Was referred by a family mechanic who trust these guys. They offered 12 month warranty for my transmission. They're excellent & know what they're doing. They take care of you. I had a little issue with my transmission going when I would first turn on the car every now and then. Let them know a week later and they fixed it instantly. They'll take care of you and these guys are very essential to our community working on our cars. Definitely will be referring others here and coming back for any other transmission related issues. Also when I need a new engine if they offer that service as well.

I was charged a flat $2,400 for a 4L80E rebuild with the promise that they would replace everything the transmission needed. Unfortunately, after five rebuilds, they still couldn’t get it right. Turns out, they didn’t actually replace critical components. Instead, they sanded down my old steels and passed them off as new. They also removed my shift kit, but didn’t fully convert it back to stock. What I ended up with was a transmission running half aftermarket parts and half stock, which simply doesn’t work. From the last rebuild, the trans never had second gear or lockup, and all signs point to a lack of knowledge and a desire to cut corners to pocket more of the $2,400 rather than using it on the proper parts.
