Horrible experience paid close to 3000 to have transmission rebuilt. Well lasted 6 months. They replaced the torque converter and within a month transmission was done need to be rebuilt they said again. He wanted to charge me $2800 again. So had it towed. The little short guy just keeps making excuses. I wish I would’ve never went there. All I can say is karma

I had to have my transmission rebuilt and Dex did an incredible job. He did a lot more than that too. With older cars, things come up along the way us owners never see until the car is being worked on, he was incredibly transparent. He really was concerned for my safety and insured the quality work he did was protected. I have read some of the bad reviews on Dex and all I got say he is not even of that sort of negative person. If your cheap and can’t handle the responsibility of owning a classic car, I can see why you would write a bad review. He is honest, hard working and has the ability to obtain parts not even dealerships can get right now during this hard economic time with shortages. If you have a classic car that you love and want the best working on it, call Dex.

WARNING!!! People should be aware of their unprofessional and predatory business practices. Paid $2800 for a transmission rebuild and had issues afterwards. The owner told me that I needed to replace all the transmission mounts at another $700. So I took my car to two other transmission shops at my own expense for a 2nd opinion and confirmed what I had suspected. False claims by the owner Dexter Ozawa. When I confronted him with the results he was verbally abusive and tried to physically assault me. Yes! unbelievable, never in my whole life experience had this ever happened before with any business. You don't attack your customers. Dexter did my transmission 2 1/2 years ago and it recently just failed. to top it off he said he replaced oe parts with upgraded parts and the next transmission shop i took it to they showed me no upgraded parts were added, everything was original....

I brought my car in yesterday to have Dex put in a solenoid pack he is very honest and upfront I really like working with him so so far so good I will let you know how the repair comes out
