I brought my 78 Trans Am in to have them repair a leaking automatic transmission. They were recommended by a fellow classic car owner who had used them in the past for his GTO. I had tried to fix it myself, having changed the pan gasket 3x and it was still leaking. Matt walked me through how they would leak check it and that he suspected the shift input shaft seal could be the problem. He assured me that they would take care of the car to ensure no damage to it while they were working on it. The shop was clean and the staff friendly and courteous. They covered the seat and floor mat when working on the car. Very satisfied with their work and the cost was very reasonable. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience at Transmissions Unlimited with Matt and David! We had our Chevy Avalanche transmission rebuilt, and they treated us like family for sure. Attention to detail, professionalism and friendly service. We will definitely be going back to get more work done in the future. I highly recommend their services to all!

I can't say enough nice things about David and Daryl. They got our vehicle in under a major time crunch and quickly got it fixed despite the job being somewhat technical and parts intensive on a vehicle with a history of being a challenge to work on. I felt like their prices were fair and while they could have cut corners and sent me on my way, they took time to explain what needed to be done and made a lasting repair. The vehicle was fixed in the exact time they estimated and for the price range they advised before starting work.

Incompetent and poor work. Claim to specialize in transmissions but really know very little about them. Brought vehicle in for transmission rebuild. No reverse and not shifting correctly into third and fourth. My transmission was rebuilt rebuilt by them once, failed again in 6 months. Rebuilt again on warranty. Failed again in 8 months. Flyid full of metal grindings. And during the process they damaged my vehicle. No clue how to install a shift kit. I would not even take it back a third time, they've demonstrated twice that they can't rebuild the transmission properly.
