Troy CARSTAR

Very pleasant front office workers and technicians. When I first picked up my car from Troy Carstar after they repaired the damage from a collision, the work looked great and I was very happy with it. However after just a little bit over a month I noticed the cowl extension was missing (it was there when I first picked my car up from carstar) from my car so I popped the hood and tried to find it but rather than finding it I found a ton of debris from the collision that was hidden. I brought it back to the Troy carstar and they replaced the cowl and cleared the debris they left from before but it required two additional trips. Plastic rivets hold the cowl extension and I understand those can be prone to break but the mass amount of debris on top of it made me question Troy carstar's level

Just picked my truck up and the repair looks good. It was a pretty signicant repair. Including door skins and rear cab pillar and a bedside. The bedside was kinda mounted crooked the first time I went to pick it up. I brought to thier attention and they kept it and redid the work which I'm sure was significant. They must have been mad about me not accepting the truck the first time because it definitely wasnt detailed. Dust everywhere inside the truck, in the bed. I like how they handle everything but how dirty the truck was delivered back to me.

Very professional service! They got me in very fast since my car was not drivable without a headlight. Fixed my Mercedes right up, looks brand new. I couldn’t be happier. They handled all of the insurance information, I simply paid my deductible. They even swept the inside!

Edited to reply to your comment: I have given you 2 opportunities to do the work correctly. How many times does it take? Why would I (or anyone) want to be inconvenienced again and be without a car, to give you a 3rd time to make it right, when it should have been done correctly the first time? I've had a great experience @ Carstar before, so when my car was damaged at work I didn't think twice about taking it in for repairs. When the work was done I arranged to pick up after hours do to my work schedule. I went on my lunch break and paid nearly $1000 in cash for repairs (no insurance claim). Great job overall! Scheduling the estimate was timely and easy as was drop off and pick up. I expected to meet and talk with the estimator and was surprised that front office staff take pictures of damage and submit them in a report to the estimator? Within 3 days I received a detailed estimate for review which listed all parts and labor which was then submitted to insurance for approval. Great coordination between CARSTAR, insurance and Enterprise where we had a rental. Received auto texts with pics and progress. Work was completed as scheduled with no delays or surprises! Only complaint, the car was washed but had a layer of grit on flat surfaces. A little more effort and attention to detail at the end would have earned you a 5 Star! Today it’s a 4 but I would def recommend.
