Been going here for ten plus years. I’ve had two transmissions replaced plus multiple other repairs. Mike always did high quality work for a very reasonable price. I just had the new owner and his “apprentice” do some work on my truck and it took way longer than it should have and the price was more than if I took it to a dealership. My truck now feels very loose in the steering and after reading the most recent reviews I will be taking it to my buddy who’s a mechanic to double check the work that was done by them. It’s sad to see mikes hard earned reputation being ruined.

This is an FYI for community members that may need automotive repairs to think twice before using TRS Auto Repair on Southwest Hwy. Its a very long story but in a nutshell they replaced two transmissions, two torque converters and a variety of other parts costing thousands and took months, not weeks, months. Less than a week after picking up the truck the transmission overheated in Michigan. After a tow to a Michigan Ford dealership, they showed us that the aftermarket transmission cooler was improperly installed. Because it overheated and the cooler was installed incorrectly the transmission warranty was now void. We had to pay Ford $1300 to fix the mistakes. They forget to tighten my front calipers. They came off on the highway with my family in the car. We could have been seriously injured. Do not take your vehicle here.

I had them rebuild a transmission for me and I was expecting a couple week turnaround at least… They actually finished my transmission in about four days and was waiting on me to come pick it up LOL the guys they were really friendly and really knowledgeable… Answered every question I had and even throw in a few suggestions for my application… This is my new transmission shop
