Cannot speak more highly of David and the truauto service team. We purchased a car from a truauto location in October and was very pleased with the car and whole buying experience. Skip ahead 3 months and we are on a road trip in Florida when out of nowhere the car broke down and left us stranded 600 miles from home. The car had less than 50k in miles and had zero symptoms of any problems up to that point. I had the car towed to West Ashley Hyundai to get a diagnostic and was informed that the main engine control harness needed to be replaced at a cost of nearly 11k!!! and they were putting the blame on TruAuto stating that there was water intrusion from when they cleaned the engine bay. Coming from a mechanic background, I don’t bring things to a shop unless I have to. Tire mounting and balancing is one of those jobs that requires the right equipment. I asked around on Facebook for a local shop that wouldn’t overcharge — especially with the wheels already off the truck. The owner, David, was recommended multiple times, and now I see why. Gave me a solid deal, got it done quickly, and made the whole process easy. Hard to ask for more than that. I’ll be back.

This establishment is very professional and thorough. The cost is very easy on the wallet, which is important now-a-days. My Service Writer, Bill Sherman, is extremely knowledgeable in his field of expertise. He explained everything in a way I could understand. And listens to any concerns I may have. Kudos to the Service Manager, David Roberts. He took time out of his busy schedule to come and chat with me while I waited.

They got me in super quick and allowed me to take a loaner so I could still get to my appointment. Scotty was super nice and friendly and didn’t try to upsell me, he was honest about what needed to be done today vs what could wait. Definitely will be coming back in the future!

My first time at the shop. Friendly service advisors. I dealt with Scotty who was great. He advised me on service to my vehicle that should be attended to. Scheduled part of that for next week. Very satisfied!
